Mazda driver of SLG2941S was caught bullying a cyclist by side sweeping him. The driver ought to be taken to task by traffic police for this unsafe stunt. The rider has already filed an online police report regarding this incident and we hope justice will be enacted soon.
If found guilty of causing hurt by a rash act, the Mazda driver can face up to a year’s jail and a maximum S$5,000 fine.
Earlier this year in January, the lorry driver who was seen in a viral video having an altercation with a cyclist in 2018 was sentenced to seven weeks’ jail and fined $500. Teo Seng Tiong, 59, was also disqualified from driving for two years.
