This is a problem facing residents staying near Sembawang Shopping Centre because the mall shares the same entrance as the surrounding residential area.
The problem is especially pertinent on weekends, when cars line up to enter the mall. Residents have to use the opposite lane since the supposed lane to use is choked with cars of mall goers. It becomes problematic when there are oncoming cars heading downwards and cars behind them also, making it hard for them to reverse out to give way.
