“CNB Drug Free SG in action. Zero tolerance.
On April 14, 2020, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) seized S$360,000 worth of drugs and seized five suspected drug offenders. The 5 were all in their 20’s.
CNB officers intercepted a car driven by a 22-year-old suspected drug offender in the vicinity of Yishun Street 11.
As the car was about to exit the carpark, officers moved in. According to CNB, the man put up a violent struggle, but officers managed to subdue him using necessary force.
They found 1,400g of heroin, S$12,600 cash, and a knuckle duster.
When they went to his residence in Yishun, a further 2,100 ‘Ecstacy’ tablets, 4,100 Erimin-5 tablets, 6g of ketamine, 22g of ‘Ice’, 32g of ‘Ecstasy’ powder and 66g of cannabis were found.
Drug paraphernalia such as improvised smoking apparatuses, a digital weighing scale, and cash of S$9,000 and RM912 were also found in the unit.”
