The penalty for failing to conform to traffic signals is a fine of $400 dollars and 12 demerit points.
No driver of any vehicle shall cause such vehicle or any part thereof to stop upon any pedestrian crossing unless he is prevented from proceeding by circumstances beyond his control or it is necessary for him to stop in order to avoid an accident.
Happened on July 22 at Fernvale Road Outside Sengkang Green Primary School.
