This accident happened on 08/05/2020, at about 7am, along AYE after North Buona Vista Road. A concrete debris flew into a taxi through the window of the driver’s seat. Luckily, the taxi driver was unhurt as the magnetic sun shade cushioned the impact and deflected the debris away from him.
The driver mentioned that the incident took place in a matter of seconds, causing both his passenger and himself to be stunned for awhile. Once the driver saw the shattered window and debris on his gear shift, he realised what happened and he got down to check his vehicle.
The driver could not recall any truck driving past him during that time and his dash cam did not manage to capture the incident.
