Cyclist flashes middle finger when car doesn’t stop for son who was riding across road at River Valley.
All children are like new computers that need programming. Children do not know right from wrong, safe and unsafe road manners. It is always up to adults to educate and instill into children to cross roads, streets, drive ways and car parks safely. Children should also be taught to use pedestrian crossing if available and not jaywalk. These are not auto responses in children and must be inculcated into them.
Lastly, also teach children not to be distracted with their mobile devices while using our shared roads. This is greatly missing in most of the pedestrians using public roads.
