A taxi skidded along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on a rainy Tuesday (June 23).
Stomper Hanney witnessed the accident near the Bedok North Road exit at around 11am.
“A brave passer-by went forward to help and check on the driver. The taxi uncle was conscious but in shock. When asked what had happened, he told the passer-by that he had skidded due to the slippery road.”
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a road traffic accident at around 11.15am.
Paramedics assessed one person at the scene and he subsequently refused conveyance to the hospital.
Hanney added: “Stay safe, everyone.”
