Senior Asst Comm Datuk Mohd Nadzri Hussain said the operation, which started last Friday (Sept 27), managed to collect RM611,000 as at 10am Sunday (Sept 29).

SAC Mohd Nadzri also said the RM611,000 collected involved 3,174 summonses that were settled by 2,687 Singaporeans and 487 Malaysians.

“There is a total of 247,278 recorded summons in our database since the year 2000 where we have only managed to collect 3,174 during this operation,” he said, adding that the operation will be continued in the future.

He added that the operation was also in line with the enforcement of Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) on Oct 1,2019.

“All foreign vehicles who want to get their VEP must first settle all their summonses otherwise they will not be able to enter the country.

“Payment can also be made throughout Singapore from 900 available AXS machines aside from checking their summonses via myeg.com.my or rilek.com.my,” he said.
