The invite-only event featured theory refreshers and practical riding practice in the CDC Circuit followed by a convoy ride to The Handlebar.
The low-hanging clouds did little to dampen the spirit of the 50 riders that turned up to join Ride The Flow on 12 April 2025.
The event, jointly organised by ROADS.sg and Medical Channel Asia, kicked off with a special access to the ComfortDelgro Driving Center’s (CDC) circuit for the participants. Participants got exclusive access to ride their personal bikes into the circuit, led by instructors of CDC.
The invite-only event was done in support of Men’s Health Awareness and the continuous messaging of Road Safety amongst riders. Wrapping up CDC after an hour of skills training and safety refreshers, the riders formed up in a convoy led by the marshals of Harley Owners Group Singapore (HOGS).
With the help of Medical Channel Asia and Boston Scientific, Ride The Flow also invited Dr Jay Lim, a Urologist from The PanAsia Surgery Group, to give a highly energetic and informative talk about prostate health. The talk specifically focused on the topic of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), a condition commonly known as “enlarged prostate”. Minimally invasive treatments for the condition, such as water vapour therapy, were highlighted to the audience for awareness and understanding.
At The Handlebar over dinner, participants joined in a challenging Pub Quiz testing their knowledge on motorcycle trivia and men’s health topics. Each round of the Pub Quiz saw the top 10 winners rewarded with prizes from event partners Harley Davidson, MotoWorld, Profender Suspensions and Medical Channel Asia.
“It’s Medical Channel Asia’s first-ever motorbike related event aimed at engaging men on health issues. It’s encouraging to see so many of them joining us on their bikes,” said Marie, Editor of Medical Channel Asia.
“Riders who are interested in joining more of these events can DM us on social media,” said Angel, a spokesperson for ROADS.sg. “We really appreciate the support from the motorbiking community as we do our best to spread awareness about road safety and gracious behaviour on the roads in Singapore.”
