This accident happened along AYE toward Tuas, near Clement exit. A lorry from the company Ban Soon Huat Tpt was carrying a load of log. A huge piece of wooden block fell off the back of the lorry and the wooden block smashed onto OP’s car front bumper. OP, who is a private hirer, contacted them and they decided to settle. However, the treatment was unsatisfactory and the OP claims he lost out on compensation.

To quote OP: “So conclusion! Don’t ever trust any of these company people and go claim their insurance straight! Also, as PHV driver, we are almost daily on the road, so pls also invest in a in-car camera as i believe, if i do not have this camera with me that day, they will NOT even bother to compensate me at all!”
