By 1 October 2019 all foreign private vehicles entering Malaysia from Singapore must be fitted with the Malaysia VEP RFID tag failing which motorists may encounter some difficulties entering or exiting Malaysia. Motorists are urged to register for the VEP and thereafter to collect their RFID tags.
