This is a short film of an experiment which was set up to show how a driver’s level of direct vision can change depending on the type of heavy goods vehicle (HGV) they are driving. The experiment revealed that a low-entry HGV cab benefits both drivers and vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians and cyclists.
