Lucky Plaza, well-known as a popular weekend hangout for foreign domestic helpers, met with tragedy today the 29th of December 2019. As the crowd around the shopping center was busy enjoying their holiday period break, the driver of car SLT2761B lost control and crashed into them along the sidewalk of Nutmeg Road. In photos and video, the car can be seen having fallen from the upper sidewalk down onto the carpark slope below. Two dead, four injured reported from this accident.

Police have arrested the driver.
