This prototype uses an emoji to communicate a cyclist’s intention to road users. The jacket’s display is controlled by a wireless handlebar remote. The jacket’s display is a LED mash panel which indicates the relevant emoji. In the US, cyclist fatalities have increased by 10% in 2018.
